The Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation’s Aswan facility is currently running over its capacity, challenged to meet the needs and demands of the cardiovascular patients’ treatment. With a surge in cardiac care needs in Egypt, the foundation has decided to expand with a brand-new larger facility in scale to open in Cairo, serving the regional demand for its care, birthing the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre (MYGHC).
The new centre aims to continue the Aswan Heart Centre’s legacy of excellence whilst drastically expanding the operational and capacity scale by three times. This project will significantly impact and help save lives and ease reach to those in need.
